Last dragon and gems in Haunted Towers?
I've got 2/3 Dragons, and 348/500 gems in Haunted Towers. Wheres the last Dragon, and I'm presuming its gonna have the gems I need somewhere near it. I've heard about a supercharge seccret or something? Can somebody clarify this, I need help.

Yeah, the last one (on the upper floor) tripped me up a bit. Just use the speed pad down to the basement, and then outside and go left, and jump around til you come back around, and can go up and then jump to another platform. I had to go to Gamefaqs to find out about this. I thought you had to use that small circular ramp, but that goes nowhere.

I had that same problem for years. Just ended up looking it up on Google though. That dragon is annoying because you can always hear it taunting you, and the level has so many parts to it like the circular ramp that can be misleading.

Haha! I was just about to make a topic on this level! Ok basicly I have gone through the level and killed all the knights etc. Now just spent a good 20 mins looking for the remaining gems and the last dragon...

Haha. I think what throws people off the most here is that Insomniac are tricksters and they put that spiral thingie on that platform you have to jump to the left from during supercharge for no readily identifiable reason. The first time I played the game I was going around that spiral thing for hours wondering what to do with it, because it looks like those ramps you need to jump off from during a supercharge. I gave up after a while and decided to do some exploring with the triangle button until I finally discovered what I needed to do. So pretty much that thing there HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PURPOSE, other than to possibly divert your attention away from what you actually needed to do. D:<

D= I was stuck on that puzzle for literally years until I finally figured it out while watching my brother attempt to go up the ramp yet again for the fifty-seven thousandth time. Before that, we had tried just about everything, like, "Maybe if we use the analog stick we can turn sharper" and "Start supercharging at the end of the ramp; maybe it will make you go slower." yeah... that one is a tricky one... was my last dragon and bit of gems... its a super charge secret all right. You have to charge to the balcony with the spiral ramp then charge to the left, getting onto the original entrance platform to the castle then continue on to the entrance ramp and use that to get urself to the secret ledge on up ahead.

its quite fun doing it i tohugh u had to use teh spiraly ramp as well but i found out by acciedent when i didnt concentrate properly and i headed straight 4 teh ramp ur meant to use so quite lucky really

I have to admit that Haunted Towers was a real pain for awhile lol..but now it has become one of my favorite levels...a love all that supercharging...and blowing up those freaking annoying suits of armor.

if u can time it right and dont destroy the knighst on that bit of grass or at teh start of teh lvl and do teh supercharge and and go right and head 4 em and try to make it bak to teh start if teh lvl wiping out everything my prob is i either hit soemthing or fal off ive dont ti a few times b4 though spyro mass murder lol

Yeah I also have done that...after playing through the level so many time you kinda find out all these cool little ways to make things work better lol..certainly with Haunted Towers.

Haha, I remember that.
You guys think it would be worth it to upload a video of the Haunted Towers dragon, or have people already figured it out if they wanted to by now?

I think that any diehard would have figured it out by now lol....but you could prolly make one and still have some success...then again I don't know many who have not played the game and beaten it....but you never know..

many hav beaten the game bt yeh tehre r always people who havnt and dont like it its probaly y there r new spyro fans now lol jst kidding but seriosly it would help people who r stuck wiv a video of teh hardest parts bt ther emigth b some already on youtube

sounds like a good idea perhaps there should b a new section on teh spyro forum about spyro youtube videos that have been made to help people or liek animation 4 example

Haha...I don't even remember how long it took me....I'm pretty sure that Haunted Towers took me the longest to figure out...but then maybe Hidden Passage did....I don't remember....finding all the gems was more annoying.

haunted towers was a fluke how i found it like i hav already said bt hidden passage ive nvr seen any trouble wiv it was it that slightly hidden passage u had trouble wiv?

Well I think I found them on complete accident as well...I'm not even sure anymore...I was 10 years old when I did it lol...I might have had to look it up 0.o..

yeh thats it really, no hang on you know the knights on that level do u manage to get past them all so you can kill the wizard or do you just get the fairy breath lol
